my favorite band is the Beatles. it is very much a clique and i don't care. my two favorite Beatles songs are Across the Universe and Strawberry Fields Forever, in that order. I don't really like their more mainstream lame stuff like Help or Yesterday, even though i don't like them they just are really lame to me and i cant really stand them. :) i am very contradictory. But you have to admit, happiness IS a warm gun. (even though guns are what will bring down our species)
In the last two weeks school has become like sleep, unremarkable and you don't really remember it when its over. I am almost tolerating school, and my lack of spelling skills is getting even more lacking.

Interests

I like writing but i don't think im particularly good at it. I want to play saxophone when i grow up because im not good at writing and maybe i can play saxophone on the street for pocket change. I am a vegetarian and i am interested in Buddhism. There is a nother thing that i realised will help me be a struggling writer with no money, i cant spell anything and i know nothing about grammer.
The last two weeks have been fun because school seems shorter and i feel like i have less homework.

It is better to fall in love because it's your choice and your freedom, but of course it's pretty hard to say which is "better" because it's a pretty broad word. In my opinion it is better to fall in love your self so when your old and unhappily married you can blame yourself not someone else, even though if you learn to love you would have accepted that you have to stick with this person through the good and the bad without the illusion that you have a choise.
The last two weeks have been really uninteresting and not worth wasting your time with a horribly unnessisarily long discription.

Global Warming

Our community has recently adopted gigantic recycle trashcans in the hopes of making it easier and less complicated to recycle so more people will do it. Everyone gets a recycle can and they are picked up every other week along with the trash. Our school also has a recycle bin in every class to encourage people to recycle. Another thing that our community and all public schools do is have buses for every neighborhood in the distric so that we can save the earth.
The last two weeks have been very unremarkable, my classes seem to be getting harder and i seem to get more geometry home work every day.

Technology

I use technology everyday. I have a cell phone and an iPod and I use them all the time, texting is easier than talking for me NOT that I do it in class. They definitly changed my life and I think I would have a hard time living without them, even though that is really lame. I wouldn't put any of the plasma TV or iPhones in the same category of electricity or fire because neither one of those things help us live healthier longer lives like fire and electricity do. The past two weeks have been more boring than usual because i used to spend my time how i want and since that is still fresh in my mind school is extra boring.

Diversity In America

America has a very diverse population. In my opinion our country doesn't support diversity. For example right now the government us portraying every middle eastern heritage as a terrorist. Another thing the country is doing to not support diversity in america is building a wall to keep the mexicans out. In my ppinion we are treating them like animals that keep digging in the yard when really thief humans that want a better life for thief families.

My Favorite places

One of my favorite places is Uncommon Objects, it's in downtown Austin and it's where i got my type-writer which I am in love with. It is a store owned by family friends and has the coolest old timey things in it, like an old tv/radio/record player i saw. Another one of my favorite places is the old theatre near my house. It is very small and always has free copies of the movie posters there. The walls in my room are evidence of this.

School

I just realised I forgot to post this, well. I go to anderson high, i went to murchison middle school then khabele private school. People are interesting here so are clubs but I don't really like hanging out at school more than i have to so i'm not really in any. There are cool things that they sell in the cafiteria but i'm never in there so i always miss out :(.

terrorist attacks

Yes there are terrorist attacks in america, the most famouse one, the one that my generation will remember forever, and the one that started the war on terrorism in america, 9/11. I don't really understand the motives of 9/11 but then again i don't think i could ever understand murder or suicide for the sake of cruelty, or at all. My brilliant country did one majour thing to prevent this, started a war, which caused more deaths of innocent people, and got us in large amounts of debt. They also created a color system to tell you at how high a risk you were for terroism, noone followed it because it was always on the yellow level.

Illegal immigrants

We have many illegal immigrants,expecially in the south. Our illegal immigrants are mostly from Mexico because thier countries situation is really getting bad, and it's really difficult to get a green card into America right now. Our country deals with this by making it harder to get a green card and making it so that you need a passport to get across the Mexican border, it wasn't like that five years ago. Another way our country deals with this is they complain alot about it but don't propose a reasonable solution. They come here for the American dream but face discrimination.

Summer

I did alot this summer but i'll just tell you the most interesting hilights.I went to transition camp, and helped make this beautiful banner for my group. I memorised the words to most of the "free credit report dot com" comercials. I started watching Law & Order and then I stopped. I became a vegitarian and started eating my vegitables. I went to Barton Springs, got a scar on my leg that looks like a vampire bite, and never went again (it's too cold). I decreased my time on the computer by 91%, my time watching tv by 56%, and my time outside by 100%. I switched my favorite tv station from Oxygen to USA. (I just realised how wierd those names sound) So basically I had a very exiting summer.

My name is Sydney Davis, I have a cat named Stannlay. He is mean and scratches me alot. I am a vegitarian, and my favorite food is a penut butter and jelly sandwich. My favorite cartoon character is Scooby Doo and I like to wear my hair in braids. I don't like writing about myself, but I do like writing about others. I like elephants, pandas, and polar bears and it's not because thier fluffy. I can't ride a bike and i just learned to braid my hair. I don't know how to end this so I'll end with this: I collect stickers and I'm not a fan of goodbyes.
